i was gonna ride round the 200 route nice a gently, with a session on the ale at a nice pub on the route.

but that plan has been shot to sub standard, as i am now covering at work for a ill workmate. ace.............

i have subscribed. but it wont show a couple i ride in all the time using strava. and all the one round it are filled in.


i have now done a update, and a summary. bloody heck, i have filled some tiles in now........

if my square is showing empty spaces, will they fill in as i ride them when logging the ride using strava?

i have a few empty spaces that i ride in on a regular basis.

based around leeds. why does it miss squares out that i have ridden through?

can someone tell me how to do this.

i think people who tend to ride long distance stuff, generally have a half good idea of where they are going and maybe dont need to follow signed routes. i may be wrong. i have ridden quite a lot of the ncn stuff, and sometimes a alternative route is much better and more cycling friendly. the Lon La...

How long? I’ve got a “long” sleeping bag that I don’t use. I’m back home at the weekend so can check then. Think it’s a 2/3 season synthetic if that’s any use to you.

i need a new sleeping bag. thought i would try here first.
needs to be long and wide. or maybe a quilt.

i buy things i want and sell em straight on if i dont like em orf they dont works for me.

therefore i dont accumulate much rubbish stuff.

cant see the point in keeping things that you might use in 5 or so years or maybe never.

last weekend in september mike.
hired a car from leeds to inverness.
then riding back over 2 weeks, nice and steadily. we are camping.

got a couple of planned routes.
thinking ncn7 to milngavie, then canal across to twechar, then lanes south east-ish via shotts, forth and down to peebles.

heading south on either ncn7 or ncn1 i am looking for the quietest and nicest way to cross the central belt of scotland.

ideas greatly appreciated.

been looking at the JRA big pig carbon wheelset. looks not much more expensive than a alloy set.

looking for some new 29+ wheels.

just wondering how dependable carbon wheels are, remembering that i weigh twice most other men do....

reason i am asking is because nobody seems to have a good wide alloy rim available.
