I started the Via/Ruta de la Plata southbound from Santiago de Compostella. Is that in Galicia? Flew direct with EasyJet.

Hmmmm! Your comment could be interpreted in different ways.
But a bit of a coincidence, as I had some scorpions for lunch yesterday (Spain).
The zappings were on a different trip a few years ago.
Also, the bird that puts its food on the spikes is a shrike. Butcher bird.

Most bags have side zips. Can't you just turn 90°?

Re: Rasta in Morocco.
Just got back. 3 1/2 weeks of winter sun. First couple of weeks were great but then I ended up having a lot of problems with the police. I'll post separately on that. It wasn't a pleasant experience and you need to be aware if going out there. Have a read of this - https://www.pushbikegirl.com/nr-82...

Cliff cave by Hola Siesta, on Flickr
Paid cave accom. But I am claiming it, as it was a tough sandy offroad trail to get to. A cave, up a cliff, overlooking the Atlantic. The building is the kitchen.

Lizard spiked by Hola Siesta, on Flickr
There is a bird that stores its food on the end of spikes in trees and cactus. Sometimes they are still alive. Next to this lizard are a couple of crickets still kicking (batting) away.

Re: Rasta in Morocco.
They both lose. Spider is super fast. Wraps scorpion's stinger up. Then bites it. Game over.
BUT scorpion grabs two of the spider's legs and doesn't let go even when dead.

Temps are misleading. When you are in the sunshine then shorts and tee. Nights are cold. I haven't seen a cloud in 2 1/2 weeks.

Sorry! Should have said that I left it there on purpose. Along with a load of other good bits hidden around. A clear out - too much hassle to try and sell.PaulB2 wrote:Oops?Rasta wrote:Not much help - but I left a carbon 456 size large at Coed y Brenin carpark a few weeks back.

I think they are deathstalkers. Need to check. Worth googling, they are nasty buggers. But these were small ones.

I'm still out here riding. Just checked into a hotel after a week of wild camping. Hence, no email for a week. Internet is very slow, so will post later when it improves. Just spent a fun afternoon dropping scorpions on top of spiders. I have been zapped twice by a scorpion, so I don't feel bad abou...
