Re: £1,000 Cycle2Work Voucher - Which 29er
Thats why im looking forward to them coming in so i can find out the details, but according to the cyclescheme website, it works as BenS says, but i wont actually own the bike for 4 years. Im starting to contemplate picking up just a stooge f&f along with wheels from Superstar and transferring b...

Re: £1,000 Cycle2Work Voucher - Which 29er
Just to throw a spanner in the works for you. You get tax relief for just the 1000 quid. There is nothing saying you have to limit yourself to that 1000 though. Just got myself a norco valence in the sale at 1600 which is super nice using a 1000 from the scheme. Throw a few more quid in if you fanc...

£1,000 Cycle2Work Voucher - Which 29er
Hey everyone, I have tried to do a quick search and whilst there have been multiple new bike threads, nothing seems to cover my question. My employer this year has changed their cycle to work scheme from the Halfords offering, to cyclescheme.co.uk. This means i have the option to purchase from vast ...

Although don't ride down the main road. There are some options of back lanes that are a far nicer ride. Cheers Composite, I sha...

Re: Winter bivy - northern edition.
Normally not, as I like to keep it a mystery, but I'm sure I could make an exception and send something over. I have a longer (scenic) option and a shorter (poor weather/slacker) option to get people to the pub Makes sense, dont worry about sending anything over. Ive a long weekend at the end of No...

Im sure the height will be meters, so peaking at approx 525m. The additional bit may be Stu's ride home afterwards! He may not have started/finished where the masses are!
Not doing it myself but i am looking forward to the pics and tales of woe when they surface!

Re: A little BB200 recce' trip.
Love it Si ... so much so that I've ordered a spare. If you look at on-line reviews they get a bit of a slating but in reality I wonder how much of that is to do with looks? I don't notice it's there most of the time, it weighs nowt and vents very well. I'll do a bit of a mini-review shortly. That ...

Re: BB200 - plan of attack/kit.
Looking at the site (not for the BB 200 but im looking to head to mid Wales soon) and i think they charge £15 as its a tenner to pitch up the tent, then £5 for the shower/toilet facilities. Could well be wrong though.

Started dismantling my brakes to have a closer look at them/clean them up, so i thought id post some pics. Discs look like they are ruined as they now seem heavily marked:- Front Disc: http://i1251.photobucket.com/albums/hh557/zoglug/Mobile%20Uploads/IMAG0016_zpsh08gtsbx.jpg http://i1251.photobucket...
