Re: WTD exposure joystick helmet mount
heaper and I think better design. Which one works as a joystick mount? I would love a cheaper version as it is pricey [and i also broke one so its not that well made IMHO] I used the helmet mount one. It is much lower than the Joystick one and you don't look like a teletubby when the joystick is no...

Re: really comfy long grips ??
The 'best' I have found is Chromag Clutch at 150mm overall.
Good grips and work well on JLoops.
They do not work with bar ends as the outer clamp is a disc with a slot.
Other than that Clarks from Halfords.
It would be really useful if you could search by grip length.

It's not what you think. This appeared on City Wire today The Times: Strava, the online fitness tracking platform that has become a favourite of cyclists and runners, has acquired Fatmap, an outdoor navigation tool for sports. Just had a quick look and appears to be an app giving 3D views of local a...

Have we covered Powershift yet?

I can sort of see what they are trying to do but if I was/am looking to refit a drive train I would go hub gear with belt drive.
Get rid of the dangly oily bits.

Re: Gravel bike mudguards
Look away Stu, look away. Any recommendations for a set of relatively unobtrusive clip on guards for a bike with no mounts. I tried sks clip ons and hated them. Looking for something quite small at the front to limit spray and something better than an ass saver at the back. When you say 'sks clip o...

Re: Cable discs: advise me
I use Spykes the mtb version of Spyres on the Stooge. BB7s were horrible screeching things that I could never make quiet although better than a bell for warning pedestrians I was approaching. The set up is Jagwire compressionless cables with Shimano levers. Very quiet breaking with lots of m...

Re: Rigid mtb wanted - frame, frameset or bike - size medium
ti Stooge in any state you like from frame only to rc to complete - maybe.
I need to go electric so can either sell on my 'last bike ever' or pack it up and store it in the garage roof.
A ti frame is easy to ship but all the other stuff will cost if collection not possible.

SDW until it meets King Alfred Way then north to Reading. Then Kennet and Avon to Bristol. Choice of train to Bristol Parkway and cycle over bridge to Newport and up the canal to Brecon. There is an onward route that will take you to Rhayader which is BB territory so lots of route information. Or tr...
