Re: Does this bike / frame exist
I would be most tempted by getting a Swarf from Adrian up here in the tweed valley. Brilliant bikes, lightweight for steel and can have the geometry customised. Adrian is very knowledgeable and can advise on what you are wanting to achieve.
I have demoed his full sus and it was vaguely exciting!

Re: Alpkit Parallax waterproof trousers
These are the trousers I have Phil too. Definitely not totally “waterproof” anymore as they do wet out in downpours but keep me damp rather than soaked, they do a good job of adding warmth for the weight. Light and small packing. The ankle strap makes the bottom tight but I tend to use a little addi...

Red white “the bib” medium £50
Bib Short’s: red white “the bib” size medium. Stealth version (all black). As recommended by many mile munchers on this here forum. Used for only 1 ride and I decided I’m starting to favour something with less luxurious padding so will pass these on. In very good condition. Yours for £50 posted. Scott

Selling the sq labs ergowave active 612 saddle in 13cm width. Saddle has been used once and I found that its shape didn’t work for me. Re: Orbea occam any experiences
I’ve got the occam Tr through the local dealer here in Edinburgh - Pedals Bike Care. Have a relationship with the shop and brand so a little biased. All the same I’ll tell you what I think! Really like mine, very light frame but still strong and just a nice balanced bike for most types of mountain b...

Re: Highland Trail 2019
I do believe Josh Ibbett is a very good mountain biker. He raced for Torq Fitness, I believe he did National xc events in expert or elite and has a number of marathon / middle distance mtb events to his name before he did any road ultras. Why he doesn’t do more mountain bike ultras I do not know! So...

Re: Dropper post question
If the cable snaps it will stay at the height it is at. You can however then remove the dropper and activate the mechanism by hand at the bottom of the post and it will return to full height. Re-install then ride to the end.. that model of post it’s quite simple to do. If something else breaks insid...
