Re: Wildcat Tiger Advice
mine squeeked once or twice, and I can get it to repeat this sometimes. As soon as I tightened the seat strap a little after a mile or two it stopped. If you're of the chunckier thigh like my good self its possible sometimes that the legs touch it a bit. This makes it rock side to side. Make sure ev...

Re: Single speed - talk to me
Chain length can be found out pretty easily. http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/chainlength.html Given that it is possible to end up with a half link, or a wheel stuck at the max adjustment I found a brief bit of research went a long way... What I did is find out my chainstay length, minimum and maximum 43...

Didnt you mess around with diet at the start of the winter?
Are you still eating 'differently' ?
Lost weight?
It can all effect body heat I think

Re: Other (associated) interests?
Anyone else like good old fashioned navigation? This year Im trying to do all my trips with maps and a compass without resorting to a GPS. I'm hopeless though and tend to take way longer to get anywhere complicated. Yup. If all you're going to do is follow a breadcrumb trail, you may as well be at ...

Re: Morocco in Sep ... any interest?
Bivi the whole time I take it? I'd imagine 2 nights roughing it 1 night a bit more civilized is always the best option. Can't imagine Morocco being that expensive for either food or accommodation? At a minimum i'd say at least one night for the day we arrive to unpack and rebuild the bikes, and the...

Re: Regular Peak District Night Ride?
I won't be there.
A very off day has resulted in me being free to ride from chapel / hayfield side at about 3:30 so will be taking advantage.
Catch most of you next time and hopefully bump into the extra riders before too long too

Re: Anyone else not carry a phone?
Just a note as not sure if people are aware, but you can also text 999 if in trouble. This could be handy in an area where there isn't a strong enough signal for a phonecall, but a text will go. You ideally have to register your phone before using- http://www.emergencysms.org.uk/about_emergencysms....
