But only after a full b...

Re: WTD Flare Drop Bar 44cm
I have Spank Wing 12 Vibrocore™ bars fitted to my RAG+. I've been to the end of the High St and back, they felt fine. Can't comment yet about the vibration reduction core stuff yet though. They fit your not a mega flare bit being 12°, not sure about the cheap bit though... Planet-X have Selcof Sterr...

Took all the cables off, put them all back on, following the instructions. It works. No idea what was going on last night. Now going to ride up and down the High Street and grin like a loon.

GRX Shifter Issue
I asked this on STW , but figure some on here prolly don't frequent there, so I thought I'd ask here too. I’ve been slowly installing all the bits for the GRX groupset to the RAG+. Last thing I need to do is get the 1x setup and running, I’ve followed the instructions for the ST-RX810-R dual control...

Where abouts are you? ... thinking logistics. I'm just outside Cambridge, my Brother lives near Catterick Garrison and my parents in Fife, near Dunfermline. So I have a number of easily accessible starting points. The plan for this year was to start doing BAM, but a broken frame, and outdoor swimmi...

True, but as I'm coming from a standing start, so to speak, it's nice to know what I should be looking at attempting first.

Maybe Mike should invest in him instead of trying to find a collapsible coffee dripping cone. Btw... the coffee grounds fell through but this is 'Karl the human coffee dripper mark 1'... So its only ever gonna get better £20 off Amazon , which is a bit much considering they're £15 when in stock on ...

Re: Groupsets
I've gone GRX 1x with the 42T rear cassette, on the basis that that's what the Shimano website said would work. There is some chat about this on a STW thread. Scotroutes thinks you might need a MTB SGS rear mech and some sort of ratio converter.

Re: Winter thermal jersey
Last winter I tried ordering from China and bought a SPEXCEL winter top . Fit was odd, snug on the body, but cut for an orangutan's arms. I probably wouldn't buy another, as I don't fit that profile on the ape index . I was planning on trying the AlpKit Rhythm Thicky this winter, it looks a bargain ...

Re: Asking for a friend....
Regarding On One/Planet X. I bought a lurcher frame from them (carbon 29er) which has been great. It arrived without the drop outs though, so I tweeted Brant and they were in the post that day. That was 5 or 6 years ago though. Given all the Planet-X / On-One threads on STW, that's appears to still...

Granted it's not Shimano, but then it's not full SRAM either, you can pick up a 2020 Rondo Ruut AL 2 for £1,499. The Sonder Camino Al GRX1 at £1,299 is probably a better proposition though.

Re: What's the best rear red light please
When my old Dinotte rear light finally gave up the ghost, I ended up buying a couple of the cheap Phaart lights off Planet X to get me through last winter. Had the Phaart Booster 0.5 Watt on the seat post and the Phaart Bleep Dual 0.5 Watt on the hydration pack. They seemed pretty good for the money...

In lieu of an introduce yourself thread, I'm Bob. You may have bumped into me on such forums as the singletrack one, the fat bike one, the Nerf one, or possibly the high power rocketry one. Up until May, I rode a Calibre Dune and was looking to get into bike packing this year. Shame I cracked the fr...
