A 3 mile hike?!! Theyve done the HT550 so significantly more than 3 miles of hiking with zero issues. I've got wide feet and they fit me really well. You could try them and return them if not suitable. I've ordered a 43 and a 44 just incase the sizing has changed

Some of the down hills are a bit rough and if its damp you may want the extra gription of an mtb tyre. It is doable on a gravel bike but I remember thinking 'I'm glad I'm not on the Camino' Make sure you've got a bit of spare food and dont expect all the pubs on the map to be open or still be a pub ...

I use a Mophie powerstation 2x that is pass through. My etrex will run all day off it and at the end of the day its fully charged ready to top my phone or camera up.
