North West/Welsh Borders Contingent - Winter Lecture Series
Hey all. I'm planning to set up a series of monthly winter lectures running in Chester. For anyone in the north west area - South Manchester, Cheshire, Liverpool, North Wales, Welsh Borders I'd really value your feedback to gauge the level of interest and help out validating the idea. There is a sho...

Re: Exiting the Rat Race!
I spent over two years riding bikes in remote places around the world. In many ways it was one of the best things I've ever done and would recommend anyone to do the same if they are thinking about it. People often worry about returning back to the 'real world' or the 'rat race', to be honest you'll...

Re: Rohloff advice please.
Like others have said its all about context of where and when you plan to ride your bike. I've ridden in excess of 15,000kms on a Rohloff hub, in fact I currently own two of them, so I guess I must like them and am fairly well placed to understand their pros and cons. If you want a fast light bike, ...

Sounds like a cracking idea Stu.
We did a solistice ride last year, keen to repeat it.
Hopefully make it along if I haven't moved to France by then.

Re: When you're not sure if it's a spoof....
Plus +2 to Dr May and the Pips... Its a nice film trying to capture the spirit of travel with friends. Equally they're a nice set of lads over at Pannier, I caught up with them last March for their weekender which was great fun. I mean if we're being cynical about things...I'm sure some of the guys ...

Couldn't have put it better myself Northwind.
Every time I walk past this bike, I can't help think someone else out there should be enjoying this bike rather than it sat gathering dust.

Yep its a pretty niche build, but for someone with plans for some big dirt road adventures I don't think you could go for wrong - but I would say that ;-)
I'm certainly open to negotiation, so if you have something in mind feel free to ping me a PM.

Are you looking for something different? A bike which will make you ride faster, enabling you to shred the gnar whilst hanging with your bros? Something that will instantly make you looker cooler in a plaid shirt, and your beard grow fuller and thicker…. I’m afraid to say this might not be the bike ...
