Re: Overnight stays still banned?

I spoke with a chap today who was on his way to a bothy who was from Englandshire and with a strong accent of the 'Calm down calm down' type  He did confirm this. I asked him "where you of to mate (as it was getting on a bit)", and his reply was"I'm off to the bothy as it'll be ...

I usually do the 'North wales' one but it's going to be a solo one this year. Reasons being some can't leave there region etc. Anyways I went to where I'm spending my GFBD weekend today to drop off some liquid refreshments. It'll be a great 24 miler there from the south (the Mrs is dropping me off n...

Went out to the local woods this afternoon while the pork was roasting. Not wanting to close your eyes because the night sky is glistening with a gazillion stars.

Watching the pre-sunrise sky change colour.

Stumbling across a shop on the Isle of Harris 10 minutes before they close and shopping like you're on Supermarket Sweep!

It happened again today, I packed the bike, went out (from the front door), 'struggled' to find a spot to tarp up, got wet, got cold and came straight home. Probably it was in the back of my mind that its going to be awful from around 5am tomorrow. When you're cold at 5pm doesn't bode well for how y...
