I'm afraid I've measured his bike and it extends too much out of the frame for his leg length at the moment he probably needs a 100mm drop or to have another growth spurt lol cheers anyway

I initially ignored their suggestion of sks bluemels basic 55 and got sks edge al 55 but they wouldn't fit so went back for the basics and they fit perfectly

Shaf what's the diameter of the post if its 31.6 would you mind measuring the seat rails to the lowest point i could put it in a frame , as it would be for my little lads bike if it would fit I'm not sure though he might need a shorter on thanks

They look like just probably rivnut fixed like bottle bosses, with a 5kg limit per side they are the on one selcof ones

No there are not stated weights but they appear identical in other than the mounts , so I suppose yes they could indeed be weaker
