These can be poppered together to give a duvet with a rating of 13.5. If this is a valid way of working such things out, then if we can work out some way to co...

If this thread was a cunningly disguised ploy to drive up sales of Tyvek and Permavent, then it's working! Mine arrived today, with an unexpected bonus in the parcel... Cheers Stu!

Does it make any difference if one puts the foam under or over the air mat?

Making a Numo mat less cold

Warmer might be stretching things a bit... So, I have an Alpkit Numo mat, which whilst light and small when packed, probably isn't the most insulating mat ever. Re: Bar Tape. And Tyres.

Zipp service course tape is fantastic, but very spendy.
LifeLine Professional Bar Tape With Perforation is a decent budget alternative to Lizard Skins.
I also use PRO (Shimano) gel pads under the tape.

Re: Advice on chairing for 1×11

11 speed chain should work. The spacing between the inner plates is the same as regular 3/32" chain, it's the outer plates that are slimmed down to give the chain a narrower overall width. Downside to that chainring is it's not narrow/wide, so you'll probably want to give some thought to other ...
