Kamoot for navigating

Anyone used kamoot for navigation of a download3d gps off roaf? Thinking about using it for navigating Italy divide on my phone as sometimes find the garmin a bit hard work. Looks fairly simple to use just not sure of the map detail?

Re: Italy divide

Thanks guys. I think i will just take a cardboard bike box and chuck it when i get to naples. I need to figure out transport back to milan after the finish. Its about 140kms to cycle i think and then a bike box to find when in milan.
Anyone done it and offer any tips?

Re: 650 or 700 dyno wheel

Thanks
Yea the 650 will be best for off road stuff. the problem is I like to do both and wont buy 2 wheels so its a compromise. but thinking I might regret the slower tyres on road with the 650.

650 or 700 dyno wheel

Right this has probably been done to death. Just about to buy a dyno wheel for my gravel/road bike. I currently have 650 wheels and 700cc I'm trying to work out which is best/lightest etc for both types of riding, off road gravel and road so 2 tyres probably a 32mm 650 road or a 28mm 700cc and 38mm ...

I done it 2 years ago and have considered it for this year. How were the route changes last year they took out the 2 big climbs on the first day if I remember right? was the rest of the route pretty much left the same?

Re: Seatpost seizure

Ha ha.
The seatpost on my mtb was completly seized just a few weeks ago. I just undone the clamp sprayed some oil down it and rode it for 2 weeks without the clamp. Eventually on a long ride it stared to slip down. Easy peasy!!
