Re: Tyres for Tuscany Trail . .

I was on Racing Ralphs last year. I think it was a pretty good choice and I'd choose them again.

Tour Aotearoa - Interview

Hi all,

Some good friends of mine have started an outdoorsy website and they've recently reviewed another friend - Rickie Cotter about her time on the Tour Aotearoa. Worth a read...

I'll be on a cross bike. Still trying to decide which tyres I'll be on.

Smart Sam or G Ones...

If you're prepared to sell the stem cells and fuel pod separately I would be interested to know the price.

Thanks,

Re: Easter?

I'm off for 6 days bikepacking in north west Slovenia with a couple of others. Flying out on Thursday and back next week. If I don't get caught up in an avalanche or mauled by hungry bears coming out of hibernation... Plan is to ride as much of this route as we can (depending on snow conditions) htt...

Re: GPX - please help

Thanks Chew.

Unfortunately the file won't open in bikehike (Upload error:1). I've managed to convert it into a track using Ride with GPS and also GB.mapometer.
But it still doesn't work...

The file size is 2.4KB so it should work no problem.

Completely stumped.

GPX - please help

Hi all, I'm trying to upload a GPX file to my Garmin etrex 20. This is the route: http://www.bikepacking.com/routes/bikepacking-slovenia/ I have downloaded it and viewed it online using Ride with GPS. Exported and saved in my GPX folder on my MicroSD card. The track is shown as being 302.2 miles lon...

Re: Long Shot - Transpyr GPX

Thanks!
This looks good but will keep searching.

Also if anyone lives or has ridden anywhere in/around the Pyrenees and can recommend any stuff to see, places to stay etc. that would be great!

Many thanks

Long Shot - Transpyr GPX

Hi all,

Bit of a long shot but I'm after a GPX file for the Transpyr stage race that traverses the Pyrenees. Anyone got one?
Or a similar off-road route from coast to coast?

Thanks,

Giacomo

Re: Tuscany Trail 2016

Pretty sure I paid 30 euros last year for my bike bag to be transported from start to finish. Only a few people did it in the end. Depending on where you need to get back to, you may or may not be able to take your bike on a train without a bike bag. Local trains allow it without a bag whereas the l...

Just had an email update from Rickie.

She's currently waiting for a delayed ferry. Hope it doesn't hold her up too much!

Keep on keeping on!

Vaude Terratrio is worth a look.

Exposure Joystick - anyone got one?

I'm after a decent light after my Chinese imports are on the blink... They served me well, but I always felt I was winging it and that they could just stop working at any moment. I'm after something that'll offer me a bit more reliability. The exposure joystick seems to tick many boxes; light, fairl...

It'll be far too dry for you Stu. Tuscany trail was great last year. Excellent food and wine, drinking water everywhere, warm weather, lots of easy gravel and some stunning scenery and villages. I took a BA flight last year from gatwick to Pisa, then a short train ride to Massa. I took my bike bag w...
