Re: Anyine ride exclusively singlespeed?

Not any more, I don't ride enough to stay strong enough for SS in Calder Valley. But when I did, similar reasons to James. Got bored of constant kit faff - though I did stick with front suspension.

Aye, it's the reason I walked up the sodding hill in the first place ;)

Thank though! I've been trying to get that shot for a few years now, but it's always been clagged out. That's the eventual winner. He had about a minute lead on a 28min course!

Re: Today's Run

Currently on day 17 of my December run tradition, going well, but starting with a very competitive race may not have been the best of choices :)

Going well, and really, enjoying my running!

A rare sojourn into colour film for me. Kodak ProImage 100 - not bad for a cheap colour film. I can't justify the cost of Ektar any more.

Andy I'll take the Luxy bars unless you see sense, put them on ebay, and get a lot more.

Re: Today's Run

A weekend racing in the Forest of Dean. Two wonderful days of orienteering with family and almost half the club travelling down from the Pennines to race. Saturday - a fast section of forest with really nice running trails and excellent fast running through old forest. 8th overall, 2nd V40. Happy. S...

It is definitely more road than pure gravel. Was always supposed to be that way.

Re: Salsa Warroad owners….

No idea, not running mudguards on it, that's what the Cotic Escapade is for :)

But yes, there is a mounting kit for a full set of real guards. I flit between 650b and 700c on mine over, so that's the main reason I've not fitted any.

I like that, mainly the red reflection on the leaves.

Looks like a nice slow exposure with some Ektar.

Re: Photos you have taken in the last month of which you like.

*sigh*

Not going to get into the "it's not photography" argument, but can we at least keep the images as things we took while physically there- otherwise, what is the point?

Re: Today's Run

OMM, B course with my mate who'd just about recovered from Covid 2 weeks prior. 18th male team, happy with that as we're technically vets, but at the OMM you have to be over 45. So his 55 and my 43 don't quite work out. Still a great day out. Next year.... it's in Scotland. Already entered with my w...
