Re: Bivvy a Month 2024

For my February BAM, I made my way to a google map pin drop sent to me, at the appointed hour, which turned out to be in the middle of some random suburban street, as the sun was setting... Whereupon I was soon met by around 8 men, some strangers, some just strange  , who beckoned me to follow...

Re: Todays ride

What did I do next? Rolled back down the hill, had a cappuccino bought for me at the cafe at the lake there, then was driven up to Liverpool. Got dumped there by young Miss Z, and managed to put bike back together, pack and attach my bags, whilst being desperate for a wee, which I consider quite an ...

I then dismounted my bike in the usual style of flinging my leg over the back, forgetting I had kit back there and ended up landing on the ground.

Re: Yay, it's cheery Friday.

Actually sitting down. Doing absolutely nothing. Apart from finally visiting this here place, which has been sorely missing from my life recently. That's cheery Friday enough in itself. Added bonus is that I am sitting doing nothing on a comfy bed in a guest house in sleety slate grey Blaenau Ffesti...

Hi, I've somehow slipped out of the forum again recently, and surprisingly even during the five days I've just been travelling and spending a few days with my parents, who only seem to be vertical for a very few hours in between like ins, naptimes, and early nights, I'm only now managing to pick up ...

Here goes, lowering the bar as promised. Went out last night, expecting it to be absolutely bitterly cold, but it actually seemed to have warmed up a bit.
