What do you mean "stumbled into"? You started the bloody thing!
Your just annoyed that I might get to ‘that’ frame first

Re: Monster or Gravel WKR - Probably Ti

I’m erring towards Gravel Wanger, still a balance of capabilities on different surfaces to think about. But the monster option is just too close to the Ti Hardtail.

Then it’s the awful task of procrastinating about which frame to get

Re: Monster or Gravel WKR - Probably Ti

I wouldn't get a 'gravel' bike for 50-70% off road rides, personally. A monster-x maybe if you really want drops. I love drop bars but not on off-road bikes, prefer a rigid 29er with alt bars (H bars) for that sort of use but monster-x or rigid 29er with alts, same thing really just a different sha...

Re: Monster or Gravel WKR - Probably Ti

If I did go down the Monster route, matching axle standard would give me the option of swapping wheels with the hardtail, and my Travers Prong for that matter.

But then, I’m getting awfy close to the hardtail ....

Re: Anyone have a 'micro camper?'

when we kitted out our van, the primary purpose was to have a van, not a camper, and that’s how it’s spent most of its life. But enough camper elements have been added to make it a comfortable place to sleep. Including heater/insulation/ventilation. Didn’t bother with a leisure battery, and haven’t ...

Monster or Gravel WKR - Probably Ti

So, Idly pondering a fancy new bike, in part prompted by that Travers deal. Now I’m not really in a position to take that deal, but if both myself and SWMBO can hang on to our jobs until next winter we should be fairly secure and I’ll have hidden enough money under the mattress for something quite s...

Yeh it's really helpful

My rear wheel bust a few spokes and using that app and a tension meter sorted it as the individual spoke tensions were all over the place.

There’s a definite DIRTi type itch https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49765887073_d52e35a079_3k.jpg Do one. That’s not helping  TBF, I ordered a few items yesterday for some long rides later this year so I might be safe unless the deal is still in place next payday. Then I’m in trouble.

I’ve not read the thread so apologies

But if an SQR Super C Slim would work let me know. I’ve a well used but still fully functional one here I can’t quite be bothered to sell and would part with for postage and a small donation to the RNLI.
