Another here with Expedition food gone battery acid whilst well in date, seems to be quite common then.

Re: BB200 2023

When I got back to the school, Rich G was there, so it was nice to have a conversation with someone about the event rather than just buggering off home, it meant I could mentally draw a line under not finishing. It also goes without saying that it's always great to have those chats on the way round...

Re: BB200 2023

Thanks Stu.

The only thing that rankles is that I was ahead of where I expected to be with a shout at my best time ever but that's how the cookie crumbles, not that a cookie ever has chance to crumble in our house.

Re: BB200 2023

This is the first chance I've had to comment but well done everyone. I'll likely post a more detailed report after the weekend but for now: I had an off about a quarter of the way in and badly banged up my legs. I decided to continue to see how I went but after an initial easing up, my left leg and ...

^^^ That's a shame Shaf, sorry to hear it.

Well, with three hours until I hit the road, I'm nearly done faffing but I suspect that I'll still be messing about until 5 minutes before lift off.

It looks like they might have sent me one item.

What a joke. There was definitely stock when I ordered as some items only had a couple left.
Me too, at least it's the pair I wanted. The other was a bonus.

I've just fly-by'd it, never looks so bad that way. I'd like to get over the big lumpy bit before sunset, last time it was dark, how I laughed all the way across.

Good to see something making use of some fly-tipped wood. Shame about the uPVC frame out of shot.

Got an embarrassing tyre collection you'd like to reduce? Too good to chuck but not worth selling? Post your tyres up and if they are of use to anyone they can have them for postage and perhaps feeding the bear to keep this virtual roof over our heads. Re: Yay, it's cheery Friday.

Went to Blackpool yesterday to scatter some ashes for a relative who started his working life in the RAF - Wasn't aware there was an air show on, so it was a nice touch that he went into the sea with a Typhoon making a racket overhead.

My Friday was quite cheery. After a very sad preceding week, I went to fetch a Ti Olsen - Cheers David. Drove home with it ready to take it for a quick ride, walked into the kitchen, put the kettle on and turned round to be greeted by the sight of water pouring through the ceiling. I ran up to the b...

I have a list, they're all acquired listening / unlisteneable so no one hangs about after whatever goes for a service when I'm gone. I have to say though that I'm of a mind to have "They're coming to take me away" playing instead.

YMMV (literally) but I switched to Purple Extreme late last year having used Squirt for years and have found it does a better job of keeping surface rust off the chain in our perpetually damp outhouse/bike shed, while keeping things running nice and smoothly for a similar length of time as Squirt u...
