I’d looked at those but I think the mid sole will be too soft for me.
Really what I’m after is a waterproof/insulated ankle heigh pair of Five Tens with enough tread for the odd muddy/icy path.

In terms of Pogies.
How easy are they to fit remove, something like this might do the trick some of the time.

Does anyone use SPD compatible shoes on flats? Can’t say I’ve ever tried it.

Winter boots and gloves
Sorry, I know this is a repeat topic. I rediscovered a love for training over the last few months, and have started to think about things I’d like to do next year, nothing specific... yet... and I’m not entirely sure multi day or single day. But it does mean I want to shift my training forwards whic...

Re: Bar light...probably again sorry!
Slight thread hijack.
But if you was supplementing a Strada SB to provide enough light for off road will the Joystick be enough? Or would I want to dig around in the sofa for a Diablo/Zenith.
For context, I’m more worried about having enough light than the price.

Tons of room in mine, it was the space that tipped me over into buying. Honestly can’t recall if I went wide sizing mind you.Raggedstone wrote: ↑Sat Apr 17, 2021 12:19 pm Thanks Jurassic I am not as tall as you , it seems like a good option to use with the tarp for bug protection .

I just looked, Bristlecone is $125 (but in stock with limited options) and the Borah Chest Zipper is $102 to $112 (I think effectively made to order)

Re: Custome Frame Bag - Full Suspension
Lifting and carrying and mercifully limited activities for me.
Most of the carries that I do are short and done with the shoulder under the saddle with the carrying hand under the downtube.

Anyone done this? Any feedback? I have quite a bit of room in the frame (Scott Spark) that could be used for this, or I could just use a water bottle and tape a tube into the space. Recently started using a frame bag on the hardtail and I’m definitely a fan, stem cells interact a bit too often with ...

Obviously not one to rush Ended up with Giant Conducts, loads of power, loads more than I ever got out of the Spryes, and more importantly, the system is fully sealed at the caliper so mud won’t find its way into the cable housing. Mainly the rear that did that with the cable pointing upwards grit a...

You got worms? Always a good sign I’ve found. The manure should come with plenty.
Our garden is rubbish for veg, I think tied into the fact we’re perched on top of a volcanic sill.

I should probably wait until it’s actually been designed. There’s a mahoosive list on Bikepacking too.
