WTD: Jones Bars

I've got to that stage in life. After a weekend in the saddle, my wrists are asking for comfort.

Anyone got any spare?

Cheers.

Re: Sleep Mat

I like my Numo. Very comfy. In the colder months i stick a very cheap insulated (silver backed) blanket/matt on it. It weighs very little but helps insulate.

Re: Tubeless "gravel" tyres?

G-Ones for me. I managed to get the supposedly non-tubeless 'Performance Line' ones tubeless on my rims (also non-tubeless). Remarkable amounts of grip considering the small knobbles.

Re: Lightweight Trousers..

I just use my Craghoppers zip offs. Ride in them over bibs and then swap with boxers and zip the legs back in for the evening.

They're so light they dry superfast too. And they seem to be indestructible too.

Re: I'll see your gravel bike and raise you...

Nice! What are those gear shifter thingies? Did you have to raise the bar up and back to get it comfy? I've built a couple of drop bar 29ers and they always felt odd. Too stretched our and low at the front.

Re: SOLD: Schwalbe G-One 700x38 tyre

I've got the other one of the pair I think if anyone is interested!

Bought it as a pair but found it wouldn't fit on my rear so I downsized to a 35c. So the 38 is now surplus.

£20 posted if anyone fancies completing the set?

Re: BB200 2017 Resupply Points

Then you could ride up to the bothy at the top end of the Caerwen resevoir (15-ish miles) sleep for a bit and then have 50 or so miles to cover on Sunday. Hi ctznsmith - Is that actually a bothy? Can't find any info about it apart from a forum saying it is a house? Might be quite convenient for me ...

Unread postby sean_iow » Fri Oct 06, 2017 11:33 am I've never ridden any of it, or even in Wales. I don't know if that's an an advantage or a disadvantage, but I'm sure it will all be lovely Sean - you're not on your own.
