Re: New bothies (maybe)?

Sounds very similar to the Norwegian DNT hytte/mountain cabin system that works so well there; largely due to the respectful use by the members/users. The honesty system in the unmanned ones works well and I hope this can be brought to the UK without too many issues. Seems to function OK on the Elan...

What’s the running total to Welsh Air Ambulance over all the years? Do you keep a total?
I don't keep an exact total but we were over 20k a couple of years ago so I assume we're somewhere around 25k now.

I have been using Montane Atomic DT if still available, wore them yesterday for a walk as it happens. Lightweight and zips below the knee. Wore them on the Tour Divide and now on second pair having lost the first. I’ve got these too. Good for a decent time, pack small and have lower leg zips so eas...

Same here... thinking of a 120mm travel bike that will take either bottles or a frame bag (of some use). SC Tallboy was in my list too but I’ll have a look at Colin’s Orbea recommendation and the Scott Spark/Salsa Bikes too. Son seems to have commandeered my secondhand Whyte too; so I have an excuse...

You can send a photo of the hanger to BETD (I guess even a damaged one) and they’ll send you the right replacement.

I’ve used them recently... a few days delivery time.
