We head off on a 120km loop of the High Peak Trail and Monsall trail from Disley nr Stockport. Lots of icecream ...

Cheers Rich, i will probably go with this option TBH as its familier and easy but was wondering if there are other options....Id quite like a wild camp but i think it would be hard along here, so a campsite makes most sense.

Re: HT550 2023

I just created a strava segment from their current position called "Go Angus Go Go Go" from my time last year. I did it in 1hr 32min. I expect they will be 10-15min faster, so put them over the finish line at 4pm! New record in the making! Distance 16.55km Elevation Gain 375m Avg Grade 0.2...

Oh my...Angus and Cattrysse Manu are about 500m apart....its gonna be fierce racing right to the end now!!!!! Whos got enough fuel and legs to nail this! Its going to be a huge mental lift for Cattrysse Manu when he reaches Angus and this could power him on!?

Re: Lakeland 300 FKT

The only area where any sort of conflict could have arisen was around Esthwaite Water which was very busy. This section did take care and consideration for other users as it was very busy. The rest of the route was very quiet bar the overlap with Jenn Riders going in the opposite direction. The KOM ...
