Re: Restrap bar harness, food pouch and drybag FS

Sorry but things to do with charity especially those that at point or another we will need to use are one of the few things I have Morales with , I totally agree with the sentiments of chew and pistonbroke ,I gave a fully functional UL tent to a lad on single track world the other day on the proviso...

Re: Thanks for a great weekend

A belated thank you to Stuart and Dee for yet another fantastic WRT Your prayers to the weather gods really paid off, along with all the fabulous prizes, exotica and lemon drizzle cake makes this one of the greatest weekends of the year. Thanks to all the members of the lhc (a) that I had the pleas...

Absolutely - always tether the electronics. That goes for the light on your helmet too - low hanging branches don't have a qualm about ripping lights from helmets. I caught my helmet light on a branch on a local ride, really hit it hard as well. Ripped my light from the helmet mount and, as it was ...

Re: First GPS

Had a etrex 20 now for a good few years , I like that I can just swap out the batteries , on the WRT I just used it for grid reference instead of looking for map contours lazy I know ,to see the route on a paper map as I find it's easier to plan your route when you can see the full picture on a pape...

Hope your journey was more comfortable than mine , after the other 2 lads got their train I had a short kip on the platform being woken by every conductor on every train seeing if I was ok ,then when my train does turn up it's packed to the hilt so I had to stand all the way back to wolves holding o...

If you can get to Cwm reahdr it's a 3 mile straight up fire road but then it's 3 mile nose down on some of the nicest single track I've been on , loads of the lads say it's a mini Alps run ,never been to the Alps so couldn't say there's rocks ,drops roots and some really fast blown out bits , also h...

I do hope not , I'm coming in around the same ,but I look at like i could save a few hundred grams here and there or I could knuckle down and loose 10kg off my plea...
