Re: SPOT or InReach?
Big question is who pays (does anyone pay) for messengers sent to the unit from a phone. I see SPOT supply a UK mobile number, I’m unsure about InReach. Does this mean folk who send messages to me get them included in their normal plan? Do I pay to receive messages on either system? In theory..... ...

A touch screen is essential, I'd prefer a larger screen but can live with something small if it's bright, and I'm pretty sure I'd still like replaceable batteries but I can be persuaded otherwise. Video mentioned that Specialized had dropped its ambassador program. Off to the bikepacking.com website I went hunting for the article. https://bikepacking.com/news/s...

New bar mount for Garmin Edge with external charge contacts
Ever since the Garmin Edge external battery was released thought it would be neat if Garmin released a powered mount with a USB plug. Well, now they have. Shame so damn expensive. Ideal for a BBx straight thru Or to plug into a dynamo charge converter. https://www.garmin.com/en-GB/p/784702/pn/BUNDLE...
