I did notice that it 1a Max charging at 9pmh thats a but higher current than a Plug2, and achieved at lower speeds but that will depend on wheel size

A shiny new Alfine 8 hub

Somehow I've managed to kill my current one after 4 years of abuse and no maintenance.
Does anyone know anything about servicing/getting them running again? I could do with a few pointers

2 wires from the hub cableties to the RHS leg. First Cable goes up head tube, feeding into the Plug 11
Second goes to the light, on outside via stem

Love my Borah, I had reduced netting in the hood and the larger zip
Standard size for me plenty big enough for what i need
