Re: HT550 Grand Depart - May 2022
In 2014 an 15 it was 565 miles.... I KNEW IT..... The ride from Loch Ba felt eeeeeennnnnnddddddlllllleeeeeesssss. And very cold at 5am. If it comes off, this will be my first return since then (though I did the WHW last year). Can't wait (although I should, as I've done 100 miles in 6 weekss......)

I was aiming for a 9th May start, but the 14th could work. Probably be governed by the forecast.

Steerer is 280mm.

Huckaback NEIPA It's nice! Agreed - one of the best beers to be found in an average supermarket. Vocation 'Hop, Skip and Juice' and Northern Monk 'Faith' here. Both good and £1.50 a can for Tesco Clubcarders. Faith in futures, is delicious. If you like it a little more "rocket fuel-y" I'd...

Re: OT Heat Pumps and Solar
We added an ASHP and PV solar to a '50's, drafty semi and it worked fine. Better payments and up front grants at the time helped. We added a couple of big surface area rads, and later, an extension/play room with under floor. The old lady there now only uses a few rooms and was on zero bills overall...
