Re: 1 man tents?
I have a gelert solo and I think for £30 they are OK, however, size is not great. You can't cook in it and getting dressed in it is almost impossible. Don't know if upgrading poles/pegs would be worth it.

I'll sleep better once you've sorted that saddle out [/quote]
And i'll sleep better knowing your sorting out your headset, don't want seriously injured/dead Gairy's do we.
The bike is looking good though :) .
PS. I never knew front/back brakes were different, in what way?

Not the post man, went to the shops and left with one pair Ergon G1 ergonomic grips and one Frontier Pro water filter. Grips are comfy, filter yet to be tested.

Hi folks, charge spoon saddle arrived today and dimpled it is, :) ,just hope it doesn't destroy lycra, :( . 3 hour ride and seems ok so far but only a full day in the saddle will tell me if it's comfy. Thanks for the advice everyone.

Great vid and story Gairy, that heat would have killed me. I have enough trouble just stopping to take a photo so your running back and forward to do video shots is highly commedable, keep up the good work. 8-)

I had a pair of the cheaper CB pedals and they needed constant attention. Previous shimano's were fit and forget. I now use flatties.

Re: Broken spokes and Cassette removal - interesting tool
Here's mine, had it for about 15 years. Works fine (can be fiddly to fit in place) but I did put a dint in an aluminium chainstay with it once so I now put something under it to spread the load. Never had to use it in the wilds apart from tightening spokes. 37.5g on my cheapo scales. http://farm9.st...
