Yup, I have, a pair of 710mm black alloy loop bars I was about to post an ad for. Possibly with long extra chunky esi black grips (if I can get them off ok to remove the brake levers) I'm thinking £90 posted to mainland uk with grips. £85 without. PayPal gift or bank transfer Can post pics early eve...

Re: Question from a newbie to tubeless
Thanks all. :-bd I got a big and a small bottle of stan's (as that's the brand that was in stock). I plan to use the small bottle to dispense the sealant into the tyre via the valve. There's not been sealant in the tyre before so mixing brands is no issue. If that fails when I try tomorrow, I'll get...

Question from a newbie to tubeless
So, my fat bike has come from the dealer set up as tubeless. Getting it out of the garage for a pre- gravel dash fettle I find I have a flat front tyre Having removed the valve core there is, as expected, no sign of sealant. I'd rather not break the head of the tyre as I'd struggle to get enough air...

Re: Bar end shifters and hydraulic brakes
The bike runs 10sp wheels, so i was thinking bar end shifters....what arw the items of choice? My choice is Dia compe 'Power ratchet' friction shifters. I find them much more pleasant than indexed shifters. https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/gear-shifters/diacompe-bar-end-shifters-power-ratchet-friction-c...

A tow. Now there's a thought. Goes off to consider how to fit it to self and/ or bike.
I did ponder the tarp option whilst purchasing it, but decided it'd probably try and take off in any wind

Re: I need volunteers to tell me about off-road cycling even
Matt's post has set me thinking.
If anyone lives in the SE but happily travels to other ares of the country then please volunteer
I'd originally been asked to exclude people in the SE, but if you ride in other areas, than that's good enough for me
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Bar roll bracket ( instead of a harness)
I had a little bit of bracket slippage on the WRT. Nothing a regular slight reposition and re-tighten didn't solve. But to make it a bit better-er, and because I noticed one of the threads is a bit iffy, I'm going to drill out the threaded holes and use longer bolts (just going through the bracket a...

I did remember but then I sat down for tea and lemon drizzle cake and in the ensuing sugar high I forgot  Stu, if you want, just post it and the manual to me when you do the windshield, so I can just pay the postage for all of it, and I'll give it to Pickers (probably. 5/5 courtesy of the WRT. I was riding with Pickers and the other 'Men from U.N.C.L.E.' (TM Notinabox) and he summed it up well, but was far too modest to say what a great route he'd planned including bits of Stuart's big bear route. Everything including quiet lanes, gravel, mud, bog and tussocky dea...
