Tried to keep things simple too by having tea at home before setting off and just taking a hot choccy before bed and a black coffee on waking :-bd

Jan BAM complete, travelling up just beyond Nercwys forest to Bryn Alyn to a quiet spot I've bivvi'd previously. About 13 ish miles out and the same back the following morning and the weather couldn't have been better 1 down 11 to go

Could maybe take 2 gas canisters with you, put one in bed with you to keep it warm and then use this one with your stove to warm the cold one up in the morning. Bingo sorted

That looks good. Does it fit the newer neoair wing valves?

It comes with a few different sized ends not sure about the wing valves, worth asking the question tho on Ebay before a purchase

Re: Neoair users

Used the pump sack on a few occasions, but after seeing John Climber and his handy little pump I purchased one and there really good inflates and deflates and doesn't weigh much either. The older version has no light but the new one does :-bd https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/275173636652?_trkparms=amclksr...

Stopped doing these when they stopped the woven patches  Although did think of it this year but after crashing and knackering my AC joint for the 3rd time and working in-between Xmas made it pretty impossible, totally agree the proper 500's should only count if outdoors
