Re: BB200 2020

The Millennium Bug? Ha ha! It didn't affect me or any of my colleagues. We did absolutely nothing to our hardware and software at the time and absolutely nothing happened when we turned the century. I had a client spend £10k on becoming compliant as advised. At the time I also advised them not to bo...

Re: BB200 2020

Just to clarify a few things. I'd hate for something said in jest on here to be taken as reality. This year, you will have from Oct 1st until Nov 1st to ride the route. Well that’s much better than this 24hours nonsense, might enter! The ride has to be completed in one attempt (as usual). The badge ...

Any chance of a recording of that pronunciation paragraph? Better late than never Ben, sorry for the slow reply. I'm not recording my terrible accent in any language lol. Many years ago I found this website to be really helpful so thought I'd share it with those of you who want to be better at Welsh pronun...

I’ve forgotten all about baking and have run out of time. However, Joolze is making two so that’s handy. Bear in mind Alex, your resupply options are very limited, even more so that it's a bank holiday weekend. Just to clarify Stu's comment. It appears many of the pubs don't serve food on bank holiday weekends in this part of Wales. We're not sure if they're scared of the extra work or are afraid to m...

My worry is that if someone hasn't ridden in this part of Wales before, they might be biting off more than they can chew doing a BB200 route. Just because the map says there's a track doesn't mean it's visible on the ground, a lot of time could be spent retracing the route in disbelief of the gpx fi...
