Re: Winter camp Lakes content
Is that Blea Tarn? It was chuffing cold there this morning - cleats kept choking with snow & ice. Did you see the bridleway between Little Langdale and Tilberthwaite has been repaired?

Re: Ambleside to Wasdale Head
Following on from Bob's comments...
There's good gravel to be had between Windermere and the top of Great Langdale. If you must climb Scafell Pike from the Wasdale side, then it's up and over Wrynose and Hardnknot passes - tough road climbs but all rideable.

Re: Talk to me about Rohloff
I've got a Rohloff on my steel ECR and love it, but chose 1x11 on the newer gravel bike. Pros. 500% range, just choose your cogs accordingly. Easy to maintain, one oil change a year. Steel bits and a straight chain line mean minimal wear. Finding a shifting solution that works for you can be a pain....

Re: keswick up to Skiddaw ?
Lingy Hut is well worth a visit, recently taken over by the MBA. There’s a bit of nice riding to the north, joining up with the road that encircles the back o’ Skidda. All other directions quickly turn very boggy. The Cumbrian Way is largely rideable, albeit rough in parts. It’s been very wet this l...

I'm looking for one too.
http://backcountryresearch.com/ is offering free international shipping for orders over $60. If there are any other takers I'd be happy to organise an order and forward distribution.
Anyone?

Re: Fatfighters 2018 Weigh-in Thread
It was all going so very well. One and a half stones lost since the new year then I fell off the wagon and undid a lot of the hard work. A slow circuit of the Fred Whitton last weekend has since provided sufficient incentive to get me back on track.

I've got a pair of TRP Spykes for sale. Used but still fully functional. I'll throw in some Avid brake levers, cables and some sintered pads too. £100 the lot, posted.

Re: Route Analysing Website
Yes, you can upload your own tracks. Fourth "row" down, fifth button from left. It will try to route using the selected transport type, so maybe first set it to Cycling - Mountain Bike.
