Have you tried it on your road bike before posting?
I have no problems fitting and using it on my drop bars and narrow (ish) Lauf Grit fork crown.

Re: $79...
Just watched the "teaser" videos on the front page of Mike Dion's new site and although I'm no expert bike packer you'd have thought he'd put in a few "secrets" to make you subscribe. I felt that the videos were not only dull they were poorly filmed and edited especially if you w...

Re: Everesting Bwlch y Groes
Serious question.
For us mere mortals who don't have the endurance or time, has anyone thought about Ben Nevis'ing or Mont Blanc'ing?
Or is this just silly?

Re: quilts?
I hate sleeping bags and never got a good nights sleep in one.
The quilts are perfect as they (Cumulus ones) wrap around your air bad and as you role over they stay in place whereas sleeping bags wrap you up in knots.
A down jacket with a hood in your quilt is the perfect answer for me

As soon as he said there was a charge I tuned out, I wasn't expecting it to be that much for 3 videos plus other bits.

Just seen this on social media.
Never used it, to be honest I wouldn't know where it was without a map, but someone on here may know it and might be planning on using it some time in the future
A sad day

Re: Bivvy a Month 2016.
Just counting back.
I've been out overnight just 11 times in 2016 and have been once (or more) a month following my operation in April from May until this month.
Looks like it would be rude not to carry on, but not to stress if I fail.

I'm out of your leagues of distance riding and time away from base ability, so I never have a problem taking "the path of least resistance" for me it's all about enjoyment rather than endurance.
Sorry if that's not much help

Isn't a sus-forked CX just a MTB? Lauf's tag line is "Absorb the Ride" and that's just what they do, I'm not getting any younger and for the smoothing out of non technical trails, gravel trails, canal tow paths or even the odd trail centre they are absolutely perfect for my type of...

Re: front shocks on a cx bike
If you were unbiased John, would you say the Trail Racers are OK for CX/gravel, or are they too bouncy? What I meant. My original 29er Trail Racer from the very first batch are a little too bouncy as we're all of the other original 29er Trail Racer. TBH, I can't tell much of a difference, but I've ...
