Re: What you done t' your bike today

It seems the last time rode my singlespeed was back in Jan, when the Reba’s collapsed on my last bivi. In the meantime some rigid forks and a front wheel turned up, so had a sunny afternoon in the garden swapping stuff over. Off - Reba’s, SQ Lab 311 bars, 90x10deg stem, Stan’s Flow & Nobby Nic O...

Re: Garmin Edge 530 External Battery Pack

Haven’t got too far on it so far, have been trying to get some stuff done around the house.

Going to explore it a bit more now, working out the pinout for the connection could be the stumbling block at the mo!?

Re: Garmin Edge 530 External Battery Pack

This one’s got me thinking.... I have a 530, CAD software, a 3D printer (turning up this week) and time to spare while furloughed. Now does anyone know the pin outs on the back of the 530 and how these need to relate to a USB connector? I guessing the central pin is a common connector, with the surr...

Re: The story behind your BB name (and whats your usual form of address)

Seemed to grown up in a era of Tim's so school friends decided (probably over beers before Friday afternoon Physics)that I'd become Timoth. This evolved into Moff which gave me a cool name (I was never cool) to go to uni with, where every yacht I raced on seemed to have another Tim on board so Moff ...

Re: Bivvy a month 2020.

BAM 1/1 - 2020 is a go. Gave myself a challenge of a start, which meant I had to haul myself off the sofa and out the nice warm house. In doing so I left a nice deposit of grit and mud in the hallway from loading the bike up, but got out the door at 10pm for the 19km up to the woods between Farley M...

Re: Alpkit Kloke bivvy bag

I got bored with waiting for the Kloke to come into stock, so ended up getting a Borah Gear one. It a touch lighter, was roughly the same price even after paying the import duty. It's only water resistant, but I'll mostly be using it with a tarp and it did a good job during a wet night on Dartmoor w...

GPX Route v Track

When plotting out routes I'm never sure whether to save it out as a Route or a Track.
I'll be transferring them to a Garmin Edge 530 if that makes a difference?

Sorry, know it been covered on here before btI can't find it and my Google-Fu is lacking today.

Re: Beta Blockers

LR, I hope the BB's and side effects are only temporary!? Sorry I had to pedal off up to the pub, it was mostly my fault I didn't eat enough and that let me get chilled. Then I my second mistake was bringing the singlespeed, needed to keep the cadence up to turn the pedals over. Keep on getting out ...
