I have one of them karrimor ti stoves, really like it. Fits nicely in an alpkit my ti mug with a 100g cannister, which for a gas setup is pretty light

Re: Peebles Pedal 20/21 Oct Scottish Borders.

I was 250ml of rum down by the time you guys turned up which I thought well deserved after quite a muddy slog along the Southern Upland way to get to the bothy :) The descent of Innerleithen red in the morning with full bikepacking gear was a hoot. I got even funnier looks after the guys left and I ...

Thanks but alpkit don't do any synthetic bags. I am struggling to find warm synthetic bags that pack small enough to carry.

Right so all I have is a slightly older one of these just now - http://www.gelert.com/products/x-treme_lite_1200_sleeping_bag It will just about stuff into a 13l dry bag on the bars and while I was ok last night if it had been much colder or not in a bothy I think I might have been cold. What should...

I've asked Santa but I don't reckon he'll come up with the goods :(

More gears would have been good, wonder if it will run a double up front without tyre clearance / chainline issues

I'm guessing the chances of people partying there in December will be slim. Fire and shelter sounds good.

Slightly worried with Gameshope in Winter as there is a river crossing to do to get to it. Will go and check it out in the next few weeks.
