Re: Light Bracket

It's basically that, but I use two of these with a separately purchased rod to give it a bit more width (hard to clamp on the handlebars near the stem): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cycling-Bike-Bracket-Handlebar-Extension-Stopwatch-Bicycle-Light-Mount-Extender/401651143432 Not that model exactly, bu...

Light Bracket

Hi all missing not being in the hills, so i'm taking to the internet and trying not to spend money! There was a nice guy who joined us (Richard) on his GT 26er who had a great light bracket to help get the light beam over the front bag, I was wondering if anyone knew what model it is he rides with? ...

Re: Damp Bag In The Morning

Were you sleeping with clothes on? I hope for everyone else's sake he was! Haha I had just a base layer on and some tights on too that I didn't ride in. I imagined I'd be as toasty as in bed and as dry as I am in the morning. Still, as everyone knows I'm very much a n00b and I guess I'd learn if I ...

Hey All, Managed to meet a few of you last weekend on the Tomb Raider ride, was great fun! First night in a bothie too, first everything really :-bd . I just wanted to ask a question of my sleeping bag. I was WAY too hot when I got in the sleeping bag until about 5 am, so I just had it unzipped it a...

Thank you again! I had literally the most fun in the world. Going from one local little camp out to a bothie event was brilliant. I've got the time off for the next one already!

Can't wait! Great pictures! :-bd

With Bob on this one... Trekkertent, go to the 1.5 for much more room. I may be a little daft here, I can't see a "1.5" option? It's not listed on the Stealth One page but here - http://www.trekkertent.com/home/home/17-stealth-tent-15.html Ooooh not the SMD Trekker, Trekkingtent....

Re: Possible Tent,

I really like the look of the Skyscape! Think that's my choice made! Thank you for all your input, again! There's 3 big things I needed to get right. Tent, sleeping bag and sleeping mat and I've sorted all three now. Just get Xmas out the way and then I can look at spending some more money!

Apologies, I meant the Aeon Li uggestion. I'm sorry. Pretty tempted by the SMD Trekking tent. Appparantly fit 6ft people in a-ok and it's not single skin.

Re: Possible Tent,

Hehe. Loving the replies. If I wasn't scared of forest monsters and mythical beasts coming to get me then I'd love to bivvy. Maybe when I'm more brave, happy to admit I'm not ready for bivvy yet. I'll look into these suggestions tonight though. I was told a single skin tent isn't ideal, I did use JC...

Possible Tent,

Been getting all my research done and I think I've found a good double skin tent. https://www.millets.co.uk/tents-camping ... green.html

Anyone use one of these before?

Looking for something to fit me at 6ft 1 in!

Thanks!

Hi

I'm really drawn to that due to the pack size. When did you do the ht550? Just to gauge temperatures etc.

I also love the look of the Cumulus which may win.

Many thanks!
