Re: Numb feet after riding

Did'nt read every post, but have you or do you have your shoes to tight it has been known. if its already been suggested then serves me right. I only say it as i suffered a good few years ago for some reason i felt i needed to have them super tight.

Re: What do you ride in?

Lycra 99% of the time & Endura FS260 Pro shorts work well on my gooch, have a pair of Endura baggies which are comfy too but only wear them now and again (worn pad & need replacing really). Myself personally I go for a good thick pad everytime & being comfortable is the main priority hen...

Re: Might be time for a new tarp

Had the same DD superlight to start with but the dog chewed the corner only last week on a overnighter in the garden  , Anyway after a look around and considering an alternative I ended up just ordering another one. Still have the old one to trim down and make something out of it, maybe a small...

Re: Changing pads whilst out

Local rides consist of 1 tube (tubeless) 2 x C02's, multitool and 2 levers I check my pads every few rides anyway and whip em out and clean up takes seconds to do, but as for multiday rides I'd carry a spare set of pads for sure or replace with a new set before the trip, no real mither to swap out a...

Re: man cave build help

I got bored with my original concrete floor in my garage after painting it several times so decided one day to go buy tiles and tile it up, looks the part tbh. get the kids to hoover & mop occasionally to earn their pocket money
To much sub standard in there now to have small sofa, kettle etc

Re: Another frame hunt?

I'm not sure it fits all your requirements, but when I was looking last year, the Brother Big Bro looked good. I bought myself a Brother Big Bro not so long ago feels brilliant to ride lighter than expected tbh takes on the local terrian with ease, which is mainly around the clwydians/llandegla etc...

OEX bush pro tarp

Anyone used or have one they can comment on, reviews look good for the price and the size seems to be spot on for a solo outing. Weight wise coming in around the same as the DD superlight but think it comes without pegs etc. Dog chewed the corner of my DD superlight after a back garden overnighter t...

Having two gravel bikes I thought they were the mutts nuts for off-road and gravel type stuff However, I have since bought a specialized epic comp carbon Holy sh!t that thing is fast. Okay, not as quick on the road, but way quicker than the gravel bikes off-road. Maybe I’ve been wrong, maybe gravel...

Re: Veloviewer map - explorer tiles

Is Strava still completely useless for doing off road routes? As for how I've been doing it. Acetate on my screen (with a grid) then using GPSies at the appropriate zoom level. Old skool tech! lol I don't actually know of any mapping sites (aside from the Strava addon mentioned above) that will sho...
