I've happily fitted tubeless Nano 40's onto my Stans Alpha400 rims, set them up tubeless no problem. Have you actually tried fitting them on the Iron Cross (plenty of washing up liquid and a tubeless inflator perhaps)?

I've got both, (Riddlers 700c45's) and to be honest they are both excellent and have surprisingly similar performance, if you take into account the different volumes. The riddlers have significantly higher volume and hence I run a little softer than Nano's, this means they won't fit a lot a CX frame...

3/ My Reilly Gradient gravel bike comfortably takes a 700c45, but Chiltern mud ( ) at the moment not particularly suited to gravel riding.
