Re: Peak ITT
Rode the Blackwell > Ladybower section yesterday. Not really ridden over that side of the Peaks before and other than Gratton Dale and a near miss with a Rangerover+startled lamb at Chatsworth it wasn't a bad day out. Surprisingly quiet given the good weather and terrible forecast for today too! htt...

Re: Peak District ITT. developing one
Bit of a dredge but... While riding the top loop of this yesterday, found the bridleway between Old Manchester Road towards the River Don/Trans Pennine Trail was closed, two tractor-type vehicles parked and a 8-foot fence panel chained to both walls. There were a couple of signs closer to the road a...

I've got a Travel Tap, taken it out a couple of times but haven't had chance to use it. Rich/Shona and a few others rated them, only complaint was the waterflow is a bit slow. Seems secure in the bottle cages I'm using.

Re: Wtd - 29er wheel set - what have you got!
Cheers for the input all. I was thinking of going for a pair of these - http://www.merlincycles.com/shimano-mt15-29er-mtb-wheels-pair-77646.html saves me £70 over the superstar wheels. However, if I can look past the white rims, then the offer from Merlin seems like a real bargain! The thought of e...

That's interesting to know. Does that depend on the fork at all or is it the gap between rotor and spokes that's the problem?

Cane creek brake levers are nicer than the tektro ones. Planet X are doing dura Ace 11 speed bar end shifters for 35 quid? Else 9 speed ones can be had for 60 ish Silly question of the day, will these shifters work with an 11 speed rear mtb derailer and mtb cassette (assuming I can get these at a g...
