Re: FS: 2012 Spearfish, Orange, M.

No worries. I do a lot of prevaricating too. It would be the spring by the time I get the Bandit sorted, stuck main pivot axle at the moment, well the last 2 years actually. So at least this has me back on it, shall have a stab at it next week. Then I think I'll get a bag made, reckon it'll make a ...

Re: Bursitis elbow

i had this for a couple of months after cracking my elbow in just the wrong place on a rock whilst kayaking.

worst part was not being able to put my elbow on desk.

ended up wearing a mtb elbow pad (race face charge) quite a lot to protect it until it got better.

Re: Sort of a photo thread - the basics and getting better t

i used to spend ages trying to take good photos. now I really can't be arsed. realised that right place, right time with a camera (any camera) in hand is far more important. I leave my rx100 on P mode most of the time and let the camera work it out. In fact most of the time I only take my phone whic...

Packing paralysis.

First multi-day trip out in a while on Wednesday and I can’t seem to sort my sub standard out to the point I’m now doing unrelated stuff.

Anyone else suffer from this?

Re: 650b+ worth it?

Rocks in the Lakes must be blunt then. What were you using - same tyres in B+ and 29"? I wanted to like 650B+ maybe Nobby Nics weren't the best choice. they appeared to have made the sidewalls from paper to keep the weight down but they were 1/3 of the price of maxxis alternatives. when I sold...

B+ is for rocky stuff I reckon.
My experience of B+ is they puncture at the first sniff of rocks. I’ve gone back to 29.

2 day route round snowdonia

heading to the in-laws for half term week, they live a mile of so south or beddgelert at the bottom of the aberglasyn pass.

I reckon I can get away with a two day ride with a night out somewhere. Maybe 40-50miles a day?

any suggestions welcome.

How much of a rush are you in? I bought one of those trail star clones from aliexpress the other day on a whim and in reality I don't think I'll use it. Turned up the other day. I only want back what I paid for it (£36) plus postage, so maybe £40? But I'm off to Canada later today for two weeks so w...

i must smell bad to a tick as I've only ever had one or two in 20+ years of riding.

a riding buddy (sharki who some of you may know), used to pick up multiple ticks on most rides.
