Re: Those little holes in Steel frames?
Thanks for the replies, in my job (carpentry / roof timber repairs etc) air flow is very important in preventing rot / problems, so had an idea that keeping the holes open was good but I tend to spray ACF 50 in the holes whenever I get the bike wet and when I remove the seat post I squirt a load dow...

Those little holes in Steel frames?
You know those holes, the ones at the rear drop outs and a few other places on Steel frames, I assume they were there to allow gas to escape when the frame tubes were being welded? I was planning to give my Singular Swift frame a dose of frame saver type stuff and the block those holes up, I then th...

Re: £190 still available - If You Are About To Buy From Ra-Pha Crikey, how much
I am sorry but this is of no help to you selling your vouchers, but I have just googled £100 note and to my surprise they are still legal tender in both Scotland and Ireland.
£190 notes were not mentioned though!

Re: ever wish you were strong enough to ride single speed ?
I think everyone is strong enough to ride single speed! Just that the less fit you are the more walking you do. I am 53 not very fit and a little over weight but SS suits me perfectly, I ride what I can and walk what I can't. There is no pressure to ride every hill. I have far more success on group ...

Smells and tastes of bananas. Tallisker Dark Storm. One of those malts I love. Complex, every naunce of it well balanced, cheap, but today... Over the years I must have drank 4 bottles by myself and I've never sensed banana flavour in it, but tonight I'm having this little adventure coming from a d...

Re: Tubeless - An idiots guide
5 years tubeless, 5 years since my last puncture!
Not sure if carrying a spare tube (just in case)is ever worth it, because when I look inside a tyre that I have been running tubelessly it is usually full of thorns sticking through the casing

To copy a similar, non bike packing related thread.
Well tonight as it is Saturday, I had a large (660ml) bottle of Super Bock beer from Portugal to remind me of last years holiday.
Nice.
