Re: What's your BB200 action plan?

Firstly, attempt to get preferred bike in working order. Then failing that, ditto second preference bike. Assuming that happens, I then have to travel 80 miles north of the start to get all the kit I stupidly left in my brother's van after Moors One Hundred.

So I'll be happy just to start.

Sorry, not got any for sale, but I use these. They don’t stop all the crap, but they do stop enough of it.

Re: Brooks saddles

I’ve got a C13, and it’s just ok. I have cheaper saddles that are just as comfortable and as light. Only real upside is that it’s the nylon one, so therefore waterproof.

Thanks si. The bog at the end was a nice touch. 😂😂 Other than a broken saddle all was well. Hopefully specialized will replace under warranty. https://share.icloud.com/photos/0tyVMVy-AugaShyMLYhwyOGHw#Whitby_-_Goathland Managed to somehow miss that. Where did you buy the framebag from? You can get them off Amazon. It has some nice features, like the internal shelf, and a bright orange interior lining. I'm not sure how waterproof it it but it's a decent bag overall for the money https://www.amazon.co.uk/Moosetreks-Bikepacking-Commuting-Extremel...

Re: The post man's been ...

A Moosetreks framebag turned up today just in time for tonight's solo bivvy in a local wood. For £45 it's very good value. It's not Alpkit quality but it fits my Big Bro like a custom made one. A good point to it is that is has an internal divider, and measuring it up, I'm pretty sure one of those ...

Re: Stellar Entry List at Badlands 2021

Starts tomorrow with entries including Sofiane Sohelli, Ulrich Bartholmos, (who beat him in the TransPyrenees) ex TdF pro Christian Meier who got sunstroke last year, and big surprise triathlon god Alister Brownlee. Seems many are still thinking it's a gravel race with drop bars and narrow tyres, m...

I’m going to try the XT derailleur with the GX Eagle shifter and see how I get on. I shall report back.

So if I get an XT M8100 it should work with my GX Eagle cassette, but I might need to change to an XT shifter as well?
