I have 2, one each side, they seem fine.
The supplied velcro straps are up to the job and being aluminium the whole unit give a sturdy feel.
If I needed another "anything type" cage I wouldn`t hesitate to buy them again.
So all in all, it`s a yes from me!

Better late than never! I intended to watch this weeks ago.
A really good way to spend a wet morning, highly recommended.
I`ve been feeling a little flat lately but this vid helps greatly to get me out of the door.

Excuse me for stating the obvious, but if size large is a little tight, then surely medium is not the answer?Drliamski wrote:I bought one in Large but its a little bit to tight. Just.

Re: Loaded bike weight
Just got back from cycling Patagonia, due to the conditions and duration bike packing would have been miserable so I toured it. Dry weight was 40kg. Due to 4 days in a desert with no water and food stops it maxed out at 57kg, the hike/bike parts were miserable at best... That sounds like quite an a...

Re: Alternate handlebars
Some interesting bars there Bob and it obviously proves that comfort is in the hand of the beholder. Given the differences between what manufacturers believe makes a comfy bar, perhaps it also proves that in reality, comfort is actually secondary and the number 1 priority isn't comfort but maximum ...

I can lift my loaded bike over a gate early on when having a long loaded ride but once I start to get knackered it`s a different story!

It's great to see the early signs of spring!
I know this would be so much better with a photo but up the road from me there is a big house that every year has flowering Daffodils out on or before Christmas day!

Restricted byways?
Hi, I was just looking at my route for the winter event, and I noticed I have included a "restricted byway" on the map it says "( not for use by mechanically propelled vehicles)" Does that mean bikes?? Or aimed at keep Motor bikes away?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Permavent Groundsheet
If it`s "Tyvek" type roofing felt ,which I think it is, I use it as roofing felt and always fix it on a roof with writing side up so therefore as a waterproof groundsheet, the writing would be on the underside.
To be honest It probably makes no difference.

Longevity of aluminim frames
Hi, just wondered does anyone have a old aged aluminium frame that still going strong?
I have a frame that's about 10 yo, curious how much life left in it (not treated badly)
I`d be grateful for your thoughts.
