Re: Bivvy a Month 2016.

Any tips how to get milk out of a down jacket? I'm afraid it'll start to smell after a while. Specialist dry cleaners ASAP, I don't know of any in your direction. Talk to the manager to see if they have a clue about cleaning delicate down. There is an excellent place in sheffield where all the RAB ...

Re: Northwave Gran Canion shoes

My NW Arctic boots are slightly wider fitting than my Spesh Pro Carbon mtb shoes. Both the same size. When I ordered the Arctics I ordered bigger to allow for thicker socks but they were big enough to accommodate a quality wool socks at my proper size. My Sidi's are a metric size larger. Hope that h...

[quoteAlso, how well do the hot pogs work with bar ends. I have cane creek bar ends and like using them, will the hot pogs limit their use? I use ESI chunky grips too if that makes a difference][/quote] I have the basic Hotpogs and use them with stubby bar ends. I have used them on MBO and marathon ...

Re: Best Bikes anyone?

I have best road bike and had planned not to ride it over the winter.... I did buy an old Claud Butler Dalesman for the winter but I can't get on with it (It's an original 1992 model complete if anyone is interested). So have fitted Crud Mk2 mudguards to the road bike and will use it until the snow ...

Re: handlebar grips

I've been trying ESI racers edge silicon grips on carbon bars and chunky ones on aluminium bars. I have only done 100km rides so can't comment over long distances. I have normally used the standard thickness ones for years, they have been good in wet conditions and they are certainly warmer than oth...

I love my Stumpjumper 2014 Lg. It is stiff but not to stiff. Running 1 x 10 and weighs 18 Lbs so reasonably happy with that. I will try and borrow a Maccatuskil soon and compare.

Hi, I think that's under priced personally for what you are offering. I coach/ instruct/ guide - mountaineering/canoeing and mtb and am based in the Peak but work all over the northern hemisphere. People will pay for a quality product and service, you can sell it cheap and lots of work, or more expe...

All our race tyres look like that, Schwalbe Ralph's Ron's mainly all run tubless 26". Except for the snakeskin ones they seem to look like new. Personally wouldn't worry. We are running all Specialised tyres 29" at the moment ( nearly all s-works), they are good but are begining to loose t...

Live in the White Peak nr Monyash. Great place but life needs planning, 4 mile round trip to pub and 15 mile roundtrip to a shop. We had a PO, shop and pub when we moved here, all gone now. Riding wise, it's OK, 10 mins to Pennine Bridleway and a short ride to do Chatsworth loop which is a good xc tr...
