Re: Is a Fargo unique?
I’ll have a look at waltly, but I’m not filled with confidence on that front. Or go to Sonder and ask for a custom Broken Road with 5cm taken off the reach and 5cm added to the stack height* to make it suitable for drop bars. The Sonders are made by Waltly I believe. I think what makes the Fargo qu...

Re: Is a Fargo unique?
+1 for Waltly, very easy to deal with but go for Sliding drop outs (Like the Broken Road mk2) not rocker drop outs (Like the Broken Road mk1)which slip too easily.

Re: When?????
Scottish high deathrate is due to 80% population living in the Glasgow-Edinburgh central belt and some of the highest density (& deprived) population in Europe. Compare to the Outer Hebredes, Orkney & SHetland or even Dumfries & Galloway with very low infection and mortality. Sweden has ...

Enjoyed that, the enthusiasm is great. Makes a pleasant change from the Facebook Alaska to Argentina part82 spam. 15k subscribers and 18k views on that film alone. Must be doing something right.

Re: Dangerous dogs
Get off and walk. Never had a problem with a dog once walking. Think they realise you are human and not something to be chased and chewed. Includes the notorious dogs on the Great Divide route as well.

Re: Go Outdoors set to go in to administration
It's the new wonderful way of doing business. As far as I understand it, you basically you buy a company by loaning the company enough money to buy itself. The company now has a whole lot of debt and one (two really since you have to include HMRC) secured creditor, the parent holding company. If bu...

Re: Losing weight off the Rooster
Loved my old Rooster. As said above, wheels & tyres then forks first parts I would look at. Agree with using Chupacabra or XR2 as now called. Then look at Bars, rear cassette, pedals, chainset if want to get obsessive. Spykes are really good brakes if use compressionless outers and non TRP pads ...

Re: Foolish eBay Automated Selling System
They used to be complete ***** but think since they got hammered by Facebook Marketplace, they have massively improved their customer service. It does seem to go in waves though which I suspect depends on which corporate strategy bullsh!t edict they are following at the time.

Re: Foolish eBay Automated Selling System
Ask them to call you? They were (surprisingly) helpful last couple times I spoke to them.... No idea why your account was locked obvs but I had a bad experience about 3 years ago where they restricted my account as my Sale cancellations due to items not being in stock exceeded their 2-3% tolerance. ...

Re: Surly Krampus headset help
I have an EC44/49 lower cup with a 1.5-1 1/8th reducer and a ZS44/28.6 upper cup EC44/49 are two different sizes. Hopefully you will have an EC44. The hope straight to tapered crown race adaptor (HS136) should drop onto the bottom of the fork steerer. They are very tight though so if you put it in ...

Re: This should work, right?
The 10 speed bar end shifter and SLX mech arent compatible due to different pull ratios. Your options are; -Try a 9 speed mtb mech, which has the same pull ratio as a 10 speed road mech. You may need a wolftooth roadlink (for non shadow mechs - Sunrace do a copy) or goat link for shadow mechs -Use o...
