Montane featherlight pants M

Pertex over trousers.
Wind proof and pack up tiny.
Decent Velcro tabs stops lower leg flapping.
Add a surprising amount of warmth for about the size of an apple.

Should fit you fine - plenty of stand over. My wife is 5’10” and she’s ridden it happily with a shorter stem.

Fs: salsa spearfish - rolling chassis

Got mixed feelings about selling this, but looking to move on my mk1 salsa spearfish. It’s been superb for big cross country days out and more challenging bike packing trips but needs must (Iain Fitz was the previous owner). If you like your bike looking pristine then stop reading now. Lots of cable...

That silver backed bubble wrap is very light, cheap and pretty durable. Keeps your bum warm too!

Re: What bars...?

I found OG bars great for ages then suddenly started getting numbness. I found jones bars too sweepy (like a wheel barrow). The next ones i settled on were sq lab bars with a nice 16deg sweep (ox30 I think?), not especially flexy but a really nice shape with Goldilocks amount of sweep for me. Am now...

Re: Fitting a Carradice bag to my bars ?

I had to sew a couple of loops on to the underside of the bag. Cross bar was a bit of old walking pole. Then some spare rack struts (maybe tortec ones I think) and a couple of p clips to attach it all together. Think I spent about £13ish for the rack parts. Watch the YouTube clip on the linked threa...

Re: Fitting a Carradice bag to my bars ?

I have a carrdice barley bag. I no longer have a Brooks saddle to fit it to. Is there a way to fit a Carradale bag to my handlebars? Seem to think I have sent it done. Anyone ? Have you got any fork braze ons to play with Tony? I made this and it works brilliantly (Could achieve the same with p-cli...

Have you got a braze on for a rack/mudguard? If so I made a great little mount on my vagabond using an old disc brake adapter that positioned the light just above the cassette.

Hi Martin. Are you allowing ultra low silly offers yet please. I can PM you if so  I’ve had one of these for years Shaf - great little tent. Much warmer / sturdier in the winter than the lunar solo. Thanks Al. Do you have pics of your journeys in Strava or whatnot. Hoping to see how it's fits...
