Re: Seam Sealer and Collapsible Bottles

How much do you want for the bottles, I've just found loads of seam sealer earlier this week so I don't need that?

Re: Is There Such a Thing ar a Decent, Lightweight Combination Lock?

When doing something like WRT I don't bother with any lock as I'm normally trundling along with a small group. If I'm riding solo I have a retrak alarm padlock that I think I picked up from PC world but by the looks of it they've stopped production. This is very similar, it won't stop a thief but it...

Re: Hammock underquilt advise please

Even in summer you'll need some sort of under insulation. If you want a quilt the DD one is good but big and bulky then you get into the realms of Gucci down. Might be worth trying it with a foam mat first too see if you like hammocks first. Some sort of evazote/ closed cell foam. What's your budget?

Pretty much what Tim says^^^^^
I had a Hennessey as my first hammock then got all Gucci and spent far too much.
It's all trial and error but when you find your sweet spot make a note of it and try the same again another night.

Re: WhereYouAre Ride Thing 2020

BTW Bob, those in the know tell me to set the hammock with your feet higher than your head. I'm sure Taylor or CM can give you a full and detailed breakdown. Yeah, twigged that from various readings but I think the hammock itself has to be horizontal or nearly so and last night there must have been...

As Charlie said above chewy knuckleballs are quite flexible but in a comfy, nice way.
Carbon loops are much better than the alloy version but still quite stiff.
