Re: Down trousers?

I use PHD Minimus down trousers, socks and a basic Karrimor down jacket with a bivi bag if necessary in summer. I seem to feel the cold more than others. In winter I use a Buffalo bag instead of the bivi bag and was toasty warm through 2019 bivis. Down trousers and socks are ace. I previously tested...

What, specifically, are you not a fan of?

A bimble around the local woods tonight, on frosty well-drained trails. Discovered a large, recently-abandoned fire in a private field with a stable and spent a short while warming extremities. It would've been an ideal bivi spot :-bd Meandered over to The Red Lion (Little Brickhill), which had just...

Re: Insurance on trips

Post Office insurance for annual multi-trip travel - but read the policy T&C to ensure you will be covered for the activity you desire.

Other specialist sports insurance as necessary, depending on the sport.

Reg:
- cheeky woodshed is 1.9 miles from my house;

- cheeky willow plantation is 0.4 miles from my house;

- my back garden (a previous BaM of yours) is 0.0 miles from my house, so it looks like you've won the "closest" competition :-bd

Reckon you need some sort of 'handicap' system based on latitude and height Shaf - chances of a Highlander (or Alpiner!) winning are gonna be pretty guaranteed otherwise :wink: . How about..."maximum altitude 1345m"? :-bd https://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&client=ms-android-samsung&source=andro...
