Powerbank tip

If you have a powerbank that has two or more different outputs, here is a tip. I put a piece of duct tap across the 1A port so that I will only plug devices into the higher 2.1A port. My lights won't charge on the 1A Port and the phone's charging is much slower on 1A, as it want's lots of power. The...

Re: Gearing problems?

IT should work according to the Shimano specs. Low sprocket_Max. 42T(2x11-speed), 46T(1x11-speed) Have you checked the hanger is straight? I would do that first, then check the chain length is correct and then set the mech up again from scratch. If after all that, it's still playing up, then it's he...

Re: I Can't Find.....

Super fancy brand new Swissstop pads, which never made it on to the FMS as I only got them last week. I swear the dog must be hiding things to screw about with me.

I Can't Find.....

Despite a recent upgrade to our FMS, I cannot find the one head torch I wanted to bring with me on the BB200. Of course it will appear on Monday, of that I am certain. Instead I have to choose one of the other much crappier ones, which were exactly where the FMS said they were, to bring. What's curr...

Well that’s sorted by the time I would reach The Birmingham ikea it will be raining, where as Bristol will be dry. I figure I will see enough rain on Saturday, so I don’t need to bother getting wet on Friday.

You pay £7.50 for a vodka redbull normally so in raining Wales at the Garcia General Stores £8 for just the red bull? Meat pies will fly out the door and something for the vegans I guess. You might make enough to pay for the room at the star!

You do realise that if the going is hard and people are behind schedule, you could make a small fortune selling snacks if the coop has closed! You could then take mrs G for a normal night out on the proceeds!

A kind offer, thanks. Unfortunately the crank is fecked. e*13, in their wisdom, put just three threads for engagement of an extractor tool. Which just strip as soon as you start to tighten it up. The only way it’s coming off now is with a grinder
Power tool time, Eh, good luck!!

Yeah, I'll be there with the missus. Maybe 7pm, hard to tell because of traffic. Unrelated (or maybe related)... I've decided that we're going to chill in Barmouth around the Spar closing time for those poor bastages that don't quite make it in time. My "services" will be available to all, but I'll...

They are e*13 ones. I‘ve researched their removal online and they’re easy to knacker the crank even with the tool. I think I’ve figured out how to do it without the proper tool, but I’m only going to get one go at it without destroying the crank... I have the raceface tool if that would work, can b...

Could really do with changing the bottom bracket bearings on the fat bike, but can’t get the crank off. Special crank puller required, you see. Which is out of stock until mid November. :| So, took bolt out, went for a ride to try and loosen it ...and... it’s stuck as a stuck thing on a day ...

How about hiring him an ebike for the trip, or does he just want to do it on that bike?

If he is willing to ride one it would make your planning much easier.
