Re: Santa wants a bike computer! Help!!!!

Garmin eTrex30x/Oregon [with seperate bike computer] Why? My thoughts as well as it is a cycle computer and you either want to see how fast /far you have gone etc or where to go but not both at the same time. I use a mini GPS cycle computer for local as I am not going to get lost and can think of no...

Yes I gues its a bit long to easily mount to the top of your head without a helmet
I can think of solutions but all of them will look ludicrous - piping insulation is involved to both hold and protect

cheap multimat type one* - next to no r value and then a foam mat under that [or between you and the pad not sure which would be the warmer option Will be under budget but a bit of a compromise when you say two seasons which two spring and summer or autumn and winter as that would not work for the l...

the best value for money is a cheap china light and a decent MTB Battery o r say an lightweight head unit like an exposire joystick. The price of lights and range *has dropped fantastically since you bought those but the cheap sets have gash batteries I have a light without a swicth and thought it w...

Re: That film is available

The Divide was made there was no rule prohibiting filming so it's not relevant to say a previous rider was filmed other than to make out she was being singled out. I think it is relevant to point out she is only doing what others have done including the organiser. I dont think she made out she was ...

Re: That film is available

As for her comment that it's been filmed before and the previous film was mainly about Matt, that was before the rules changed. That's like a current F1 driver saying they should be allowed a turbo as Alain Prost had one in 1986 It not really its more like saying they could film Prost racing then b...

thats not mid ride though and I suppose its handy to have in a ightweight package but i wont be taking a pedal spanner with me any time soon when i go riding If flying i would just ditch the allen key and buy another at the end /go to a shop/garage etc/rather than carry one I wont need on the ride. ...

seems to have a lot of sizes you dont need - three torx bolt heads for example I just made sure all my bolts [ including brake disc mounts] can be removed with a 3 4 and 5 mm allen key - I cannot think why I would ever want to take my pedals off mid ride or how this would help me All their kit is fa...

I dont think it really matter as i once had to borrow some leggings from my GF [ 2 for £5 from the market) for a drizzly and damp winter ride [ i had forgotten my tights] They were just as warm as my £50 ones i normally wear and more surprisingly just as water repellent-I still cannot believe i did ...

Yes i was starting to think that I have mates who like camping and "rural" sites but they wont want to wild camp on a "holiday"
I was further assuming the lack of facilities and having to join means there is less likelihood of drunken rowdy chavs
