Re: How often do you clean your bike?

Fatbike gets cleaned after every ride but that's because I ride it on the coast. Singlespeed and hub gear bikes get cleaned as infrequently as I can manage, and I manage quite well with that! Same here, it's easier to brush the dried on mud off and lube the chain a day or two afterwards

Why?

Why do some riders think that it's not a bike ride without a techy downhill or three thrown in? And then insult anyone else who rides XC, or even gravel fire roads? Is it only me who see's this or are there other DH knob heads out there on other forums? (and it's not STW) How do you tell them where ...

I love the 3 set's (2 Ti 1 Ali) that I've got and the Titec copy on the tandem.
The many different hand positions are the best thing for me.
Not sure I'd be tempted on the carbon new one's though.

Re: Q's for Fatbike users

As a Mukluk rider and a 29er+ rider I wouldn't take the 29er+ on snow when I had the Fat Bike. On sand the 29er+ is only just a little better than a normal mtb, where as the Mukluk floats over the sand., I've not had the 29er+ in snow but I would guess it would be just the same as it is on the sand....

Any thoughts leaving now sizing? T shirt size is medium normally. Chest size says 40 inch chest is a large, does that mean I should order L or XL if I'm ordering a size up? Not sure if the fit is athletic AND the sizing is out, or if the sizing is accurate to chest size and is slim fitting on that ...
